We had a truly 10/10 meal here on Sunday afternoon. The beef in black bean sauce with Ho fun you have to ask for off the menu but it is one of the best I have ever had. The dim sum was all delicious- har gau, cheung fun, chive dumplings and not pictured beef balls and steamed sticky rice with chicken and Chinese sausage. The three of us left stuffed and with tea was around 23pp. Super value for the quality. Food came quickly which was impressive given how busy it was for Sunday lunch.
Simply one of the best places in Cambridge to have Chinese food ! There are enough choices even for vegetarians. In general, we ordered dishes which helped us avoid beef and pork. So, we ordered: 1. Veg spring rolls 2. Prawn dimsums 3. Hot and sour veg soup 4. Veg chow mein 5. Tofu in black pepper sauce Quantity is sufficient for each dish. Surprisingly, taste gets to you, as you consume the dish. Staff is very helpful and guided us to order more appropriately, as per our tastes. Since restaurant is located very close to city centre, parking could be a potential challenge. Would recommend to commute by bus.
Familiar with dim sum since a child. Most recent outstanding dim sum in the U.K. would be ‘dim sum duck in London’ as a baseline comparable. Father is a chef who came along for the meal. Dim sum quality solid here ... can tell it’s been cooked from the heart & ‘clean’ taste.
One of the top Chinese restaurants in Cambridge. Dim Sum is a MUST TRY. Each kind of dumplings have it's own flavour that makes you try everything without regrets. Definitely back again!
Fantastic dim sum... food are all done on the spot and piping hot... siu mai is a 12/10, a definite must-try! Staff is very friendly too, the ambience is very comfortable and peaceful. We enjoyed our meal entirely and will be sure to return again soon!
Very high quality and authentic dim sum, they also follow a very traditional style, which not many restaurants still do. It has a very lively atmosphere and the service for me was incredibly rapid. I recommend coming in smaller groups as service is faster. The staff are also very friendly. It is custom for the staff to remove plates and steaming baskets while you are still eating and there is a 10% service fee. Overall my experience was excellent.
This restaurant has quickly become the go-to spot for my friends and me to satisfy our dim sum cravings. The variety and quality of dim sum served here are exceptional.
